Hi, I'm George
“Creating individual, innovative and inspiring digital media products for personal, commercial and not-for-profit organisations.”
A Multi-Media Creative
Ever since I was a kid I have always enjoyed creating things. But it wasn’t until I started studying at secondary school that I understood what set me apart from others around me.
Media and Graphics were subjects that I would always look forward to. I enjoyed learning new skills, such as graphic design, video production and website development; all these giving me a broad but detailed understanding of how to produce creative and high quality visual content for a range of different mediums.
After receiving a scholarship from Bournemouth University, I achieved a First Class Hons Degree in Media Production and was awarded for ‘An Outstanding Digital Solution as part of the Graduate Project’ in my final year.
After University I decided that I wanted to explore the world. I spent the next two years visiting over 11 countries, including a year working in Australia. My adventures abroad showed me a side to our world that I otherwise wouldn’t know existed, and this exposure has influenced my creative world to date.
Since returning from my travels I have been working as a freelance multi-media creative for several media agencies producing various pieces of creative media content including websites, animated logos, motion graphic videos and more, which you can explore on my portfolio page.
Travel & Adventure
When I’m not sitting at my desk creating, I like to get out and fulfil my desire to explore. Whether that’s spending a week climbing the peaceful snow capped mountains of Norway or a 60 second adrenaline rush from jumping out of a plane. This is when I feel the most alive.
The time I spend outdoors is a chance for me to clear my head and just be. Often returning feeling refreshed, with clarity and drive to progress.
My current goal is to climb the UK’s three peaks before the end of the year after completing Ben Nevis and Snowden in the summer.
What do you think? Please get in touch if you have any questions or enquiries.
I look forward to hearing from you.
